Which part of the house should you renovate to increase the value?

In our experience, we have found that staging goes a long way when selling a home and can increase the value by anywhere from $10,000-$15,000.  If you have some money to invest in one room in the house, we would recommend that you use it towards the kitchen

The kitchen is one of the most central and common parts of a home where the family spends a lot of time together. If you have a larger budget, changing the countertops and adding a backsplash would be a nice touch. This is one of the first things that the buyers usually notice. A few small cost efficient upgrades such as a coat of paint or even painting the cabinets can make a world of a difference. Even changing small things such as the light fixtures can add a different feel to the room and not break the bank.

If you are looking to sell your house and would like to have some recommendations on what we suggest will add more value to your home, give us a call!
